How much does Microsoft Copilot training cost in NZ?
Team training starts at $1,995 + GST for a three hour AI Foundations workshop with up to 10 people. AI Power User is $3,995 + GST for three hours, and the six hour AI Builder Bootcamp is $5,995 + GST. Each extra person is $200 + GST.
Every session includes access to our training videos afterwards. Copilot licences are separate and billed by Microsoft or your Microsoft partner, not by us.
How do I choose Copilot training for my team?
Start with which Copilot your team actually has. Copilot Chat comes with eligible Microsoft 365 business plans at no extra cost, including Copilot in Outlook, and works well for drafting and research from the web and the files you give it. The paid Microsoft 365 Copilot licence adds Copilot in Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, grounded in your own email, meetings and files. We train on whichever you have and show where an upgrade would pay off.
Then match the level to the team. AI Foundations suits people new to Copilot. AI Power User suits teams who want Copilot across Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel every day, including Agent Mode and delegating whole tasks. The Builder Bootcamp covers Power Automate flows, simple agents in Agent Builder, and agents with Skills in Copilot Studio.
Where do you run Copilot training?
Onsite at your office in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, Tauranga and anywhere else in New Zealand, or online over Teams. We also run sessions for teams in Sydney and Brisbane.
Private sessions run inside your own Microsoft 365 tenant, on your team's real mailboxes and files, so it works the same way on Monday.

How much does Microsoft Copilot training cost in NZ?
Team training starts at $1,995 + GST for up to 10 people (AI Foundations, three hours). AI Power User is $3,995 + GST and the six hour AI Builder Bootcamp is $5,995 + GST. Extra people are $200 + GST each. Copilot licences are billed separately by Microsoft or your Microsoft partner.
Can you provide Copilot training at our office?
Yes. Most private sessions run in the client's own office, inside your Microsoft 365 tenant, on the team's own laptops. We bring the plan, you provide a room with a screen and Wi-Fi.
Do you offer Copilot training in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch?
Yes. We are based in Auckland and run onsite Copilot training in Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, Tauranga and across New Zealand, plus Sydney and Brisbane. Online sessions over Teams suit teams spread across several offices.
Is Copilot training suitable for beginners?
Yes. AI Foundations is built for people who have barely used Copilot. We start with Copilot Chat and Outlook, how to brief it and how to check its answers, then practise on each person's own email and files.
What is the difference between Copilot Chat and Microsoft 365 Copilot?
Copilot Chat is included with eligible Microsoft 365 business plans at no extra cost. It answers from the web and the files you give it, and includes Copilot in Outlook. The paid Microsoft 365 Copilot licence adds full Copilot in Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, grounded in your own email, meetings and files, plus agents such as Researcher and Analyst. We train on either and show where the upgrade pays off.
Do all staff need a Microsoft 365 Copilot licence?
No. Many businesses license the people who live in email, meetings and documents, and give everyone else Copilot Chat. We help you work out who gets the most value before you buy more seats.
Can you train our staff using our own company documents?
Yes. Sessions run in your own tenant on your real mailboxes and SharePoint files. We agree beforehand which content is suitable to use in front of the group, so nothing sensitive is shown without a decision.
Is our data safe with Copilot?
Microsoft 365 Copilot works inside your tenant and respects the permissions you already have, and Microsoft states that prompts and responses are not used to train the underlying models. Safety still depends on how your permissions and sharing settings are configured, and messy SharePoint permissions show up fast, so we cover what to tidy before rollout.
What is the difference between Copilot training and an online course?
An online course teaches Copilot in general. Our training is run live inside your own Microsoft 365 apps, on your team's real work, with time to answer questions about your processes, licences and IT settings. The team leaves with saved prompts they use the next day, not a certificate.
Do you teach Power Automate and Copilot Studio?
Yes, in the Builder Bootcamp. Your team builds a Power Automate flow by describing it with Create with Copilot, a simple agent in Agent Builder, and an agent with reusable Skills in Copilot Studio. Licensed Microsoft 365 Copilot users can build internal Copilot Studio agents at no extra cost. Some features, such as Skills through the GitHub Copilot harness, premium Power Automate connectors and agents for external channels, may need extra licences, which we check on the planning call.

No. Waboom AI is an independent New Zealand AI company. We are not affiliated with Microsoft and Microsoft does not run or endorse this training. We build Copilot agents for clients and teach what works in real businesses.
