How much does ChatGPT training cost in NZ?
Team training starts at $1,995 + GST for a three hour AI Foundations workshop with up to 10 people. AI Power User is $3,995 + GST for three hours, and the six hour AI Builder Bootcamp is $5,995 + GST. Each extra person is $200 + GST.
Every session includes access to our training videos afterwards. ChatGPT licences are separate and billed by OpenAI, not by us.
How do I choose ChatGPT training for my team?
Match the level to how the team uses ChatGPT today. If people mostly ask it the odd question, AI Foundations builds the habits that make it useful every day. If they already rely on it and want it connected to their files and email, with repeat jobs saved as Skills and whole tasks handed to ChatGPT Work, choose AI Power User. If you want shared workspace agents, automations and always-on dots (on Pro or Business Premium seats), choose the Builder Bootcamp.
Put the team on a business plan such as ChatGPT Business or Enterprise before the session, so shared Projects work and admins control the workspace settings. Personal accounts are a common gap we close on the planning call.
Where do you run ChatGPT training?
Onsite at your office in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, Tauranga and anywhere else in New Zealand, or online over Teams or Zoom. We also run sessions for teams in Sydney and Brisbane.
Private sessions run on the team's own laptops and accounts, so everything they build is still there afterwards.

Can you provide ChatGPT training at our office?
Yes. Most private sessions run in the client's own office, on the team's own laptops and ChatGPT accounts. We bring the plan, you provide a room with a screen and Wi-Fi.
Do you offer ChatGPT training in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch?
Yes. We are based in Auckland and run onsite ChatGPT training in Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, Tauranga and across New Zealand, plus Sydney and Brisbane. Online sessions suit teams spread across several offices.
Is ChatGPT training suitable for beginners?
Yes. AI Foundations is built for people who have barely used ChatGPT at work. We start with how to brief it and check its answers, then build one useful thing on each person's own work. More experienced teams start at AI Power User.
What will employees learn in a three hour ChatGPT workshop?
In AI Foundations, staff learn to write prompts that need fewer revisions, set up a Project with their own documents, connect ChatGPT to one of their apps, and follow simple rules for company data. Each person leaves with at least one repeat job saved as a Skill (on Business or Enterprise) or a Project and the team leaves with an agreed AI use policy.
Can ChatGPT training improve workplace productivity?
It can, when the training is built on the jobs your team repeats every week. That is why every session starts with a planning call and ends with the team using what they built on real work. The improvement comes from the habits that stick, so we focus on those rather than a tour of features.
Can you train our staff using our own company documents?
Yes, and we recommend it. We agree beforehand which documents are suitable to use, so nothing sensitive goes in without a decision. The team builds Projects and set ups on your real templates and files, so the work is useful the next day.
Do staff need ChatGPT Business or Enterprise?
We recommend a business plan. On ChatGPT Business and Enterprise, OpenAI does not use your business data to train its models by default, and admins control sharing and workspace settings. Company data safety still depends on how those permissions and settings are configured and on your own data handling policy, so we cover both in the session. We can run Foundations on personal accounts if needed.
What is the difference between ChatGPT training and an online course?
An online course teaches ChatGPT in general. Our training is run live by the person who builds AI systems for businesses, on your team's real work, with time to answer questions about your processes and your data rules. The team leaves with set ups they use the next day, not a certificate.
Our team built custom GPTs. What happens to them?
OpenAI is retiring custom GPTs on 11 December 2026 (11 February 2027 for Enterprise workspaces with an approved deferral) and moving them into plugins, where a GPT's instructions become a Skill. Custom actions and sharing settings do not carry over, so we rebuild the ones your team relies on as Skills and plugins during the session.
Do you train teams on ChatGPT Work and dots?
Yes. AI Power User covers handing whole tasks to ChatGPT Work. The Builder Bootcamp and our ChatGPT Dots training cover always-on dots, which come with Pro and Business Premium seats or the Enterprise beta: what to connect, which Custom Rules to set and how to review what a dot did in Activity View.

No. Waboom AI is an independent New Zealand AI company. We are not affiliated with OpenAI and OpenAI does not run or endorse this training. We use ChatGPT alongside other tools to build systems for clients, and we teach what works.
