Not sure? Take the gradient SVG for anything digital and the gradient CMYK PDF for anything going to a press. Both scale to any size with no loss of quality.
Vector. Use these first
Scales to any size with no loss. SVG for digital and web, PDF for print.
Supplied artwork with bleed
A4 trim, 3mm bleed on all four sides, crop marks and a slug label. Use as the reference for any job where a background runs to the trim edge.
Raster
Transparent PNG. Only when vector is not an option.
Icons and avatars
The sparkles alone, for square icon slots only. Never in a layout.
Documents and photography
The written standard, the founder bio and the approved portrait.
One piece, always.
A lowercase wordmark with three sparkles, carrying one continuous 45 degree gradient. The full logo holds a proportion of 3.2868 to 1. Never change it.
The sparkles always travel with the wordmark. There is no wordmark only lockup and we do not supply one. If a space is too wide and short for the full logo, make the logo smaller or change the layout. The sparkles on their own are allowed in one place only, as a square icon or avatar.
Clear space
Let X be the x-height of the wordmark, the height of the lowercase “o”. X is 11.6 percent of the full logo width. Keep at least X of empty space on all four sides. At a 100mm logo width that is 11.6mm.
Nothing crosses that line. No text, no rules, no image edges, no page trim.
Minimum size
| Version | Print minimum | Screen minimum |
|---|---|---|
| Full logo | 25 mm wide | 120 px wide |
| Sparkles only, icon use | 6 mm wide | 32 px wide |
Below these sizes the small sparkle closes up and the logo reads as a smudge.
What not to do.
Each panel below is the real logo, actually broken. If artwork looks like one of these, send it back.
Never auto trace, redraw or retype the logo. Auto tracing rounds the sharp corners of the “w” and the sparkle points, and the logo drifts a little further from itself every time. No standard typeface matches the wordmark, so it cannot be retyped either. Always place the supplied vector file.
Six colours and five neutrals.
The same tokens the website uses, so print and web match. Click any value to copy it.
The brand gradient
CSS measures its angle from the top, so 135 degrees in CSS is the same 45 degree diagonal. Use the gradient for the logo, for large type accents and for key panels. Do not use it as a background behind body text.

Colour in print
The blues sit outside the CMYK gamut. #198FFF and #00D6F8 are brighter than process ink can print, so a press will render them duller and slightly greyer. That is normal and it is not the printer’s mistake.
If the job matters, ask for Pantone. Start by comparing 2727 C for the blue and 306 C for the cyan against a physical swatch book, then confirm with the printer. Treat those two as a starting point, not a final answer. Do not use the direct CMYK value for Waboom Ink across large solid areas. Ask for a rich black build with a navy bias and approve a proof.
Two faces, never three.
Both are free on Google Fonts and both are already in use on this site.

Get Outfit on Google FontsSpace Grotesk for headlines and for the tagline. Outfit for everything else. Body copy starts at 10pt in print and 17px on screen. If a font is missing, use Arial, never a lookalike. Never set the tagline in the logo letterforms. The logo is artwork, not a font.
