What does AI training for heads of department cover?
It covers the documents a head of department already owns: board pack sections, KPI reports, policies, meeting minutes and staff communications. Each leader works on their own files in Copilot, Claude or Gemini. They leave with one finished piece and a repeatable method for the next one.
How is this different from the AI strategy workshop?
The AI strategy workshop decides what your organisation should do with AI and produces a roadmap. This training teaches your leadership team to do the work themselves, on their own tools, so the roadmap gets used. Run the strategy workshop first if you have no plan, and this session once you do.
Do our managers need any technical skills?
No. The session is built for people who run departments. If a leader can write an email and open a spreadsheet, they can do everything in the room. The Builder Bootcamp level adds simple automations, and we pair technical and non-technical leaders for that part.
Copilot, Claude or Gemini for a leadership team?
Use the platform your organisation is licensed and governed to use. Microsoft 365 organisations get Copilot, Google Workspace organisations get Gemini, and mixed teams or teams heavy on documents get Claude with connectors. We teach the same methods on all three, and we can show the team a side by side on their own documents.
How do you measure adoption after the session?
For company-wide programmes we run a 30, 60 and 90 day check-in. Each leader reports which weekly task now runs through AI and what stopped them, in a five question survey that takes ten minutes. The answers decide which department gets trained next and what the next session covers.
Can you run this in Australia or as part of a leadership offsite?
Yes. We run leadership sessions onsite anywhere in New Zealand and Australia, or online over Teams or Zoom. A half day slots into an offsite agenda. The full day version runs Claude Cowork in the morning and Claude Code in the afternoon, with one real build chosen before lunch.
